Maintenance

On July 4 Aarsleff Rail signed a contract with Keolis for the maintenance of Odense Light Rail. Keolis is the holder of the full operations and maintenance contract. The Odense Light Rail will open in autumn 2021. The light rail system is one of the city's answers to the challenges that future traffic patterns present. Odense is growing and needs an environmentally friendly way of transport that can provide efficient transport for the city’s inhabitants without creating more congestion.

Aarsleff Rail's task at Odense Light Rail will be to maintain the light rail's 14.5 km long double track line with 26 stations. In addition to track maintenance the contract covers maintenance and repairs of the traction current system, stations, signalling system and other electrical installations, as well as providing winter services.

Our maintenance services will be carried out in collaboration with many stakeholders and partners. We have previously participated in creating a good and well-functioning partnership at the Aarhus Light Rail and look forward to contributing to the work in Odense.
