New tracks between

Klampenborg and Helsingør

Aarsleff Rail and Banedanmark have signed a contract on track renewal between Klampenborg and Helsingør north of Copenhagen.

The contract covers complete track renewal on the double-tracked line including points on the stations. Also included in the contract is work on signalling and catenary as well as drainage.

Once the worn out tracks are replaced the current local speed limitations can be lifted and the line’s usual overall speed limit of 100/120 km/h be restored.

The contract has a value of DKK 219 million and is carried out in co-operation with Spitzke SE Denmark.
